VOTING BY DESIGN by TEDWomen
The way we vote and who we vote for is by design. It can be designed in away to increase voter representation or to manipulate the system in order to get a particular desired outcome. The process is called gerrymandering and at different times it has worked to the benefit of both Democrats and Republicans.
Moon Duchin has taken up this fight bringing a new approach to gerrymandering by designing mathematical principles in order to create unbiased voting districts.
